Today, I realized and was able to get a glimpsed sensation of empathy for people who do work full time. I know this sounds crazy but I have never worked "full time" in my life because in the fitness industry as a group fitness instructor it would be crazy hard to work 40+ hours a week haha. Anyways, after having this realization, I have decided to come home a slow down. We are busy bees and let us remember that it is okay to slow down. In a Yang driven westernized day, bring yourself into Yin when you can, honor the work you have been doing, stop worrying about what you need to do or what has happened, take a few conscious breaths, close your eyes for a moment and breathe, acknowledge the abundance of trees around you (I live in Denver) and when we slow down and take on a moment of stillness, focus on being as present as you can, we come back revamped, recharged, rejuvenated, and revitalized, reversed, reborn, and... that's about it for words that begin with a "r" and have similar meanings ;)
Thanks for your support everyone, it truly is such an amazing feeling to see that people actually read what you write and appreciate it (relatively speaking). I'd love to hear from you all sometimes! I love a good mind jam session or even a casual chat about life.
Peace and Love Always.
